90 DAY (SINCE CHEMO) CANCER EVALUATION

in #esteem5 years ago

I had my first of many Doctors appointments today. We are at the 90 day mark. In the next two weeks there are appointments just about everyday. 7 out of 10 days and thats if everything goes well. Now we have to see where we are at. It was a weird feeling not doing any cancer treatment over the past 3 months. Well except for the Bone Infusions every 4 weeks. The chemo and cancer did take its toll on my organs. They have recovered and still recovering . That is why 90 days was the minimum time before any treatment can restart. The further we can push this down the road the better of we are. On the 7 of May we will have all the results.
On the 3rd they will take a CAT Scan and with that they will measure everything the cancer effected. They will compare it with the Pet Scan from 90 days ago. This will take some time to get done.

I must say that this experance has given me a view of how far the medical field has come. It is something we take for granted. Then we are upset because our loved one has passed. There are so many illnesses that people are no longer passing from then 30-40 years ago. Its really amazing.

All I have been hearing about lately is Socialism. Mostly because of our upcoming election. It stuns me on how many people think its a good thing. I just don’t get how it is ok to take money from one person and give it to someone else for doing nothing.
People say that our Social Security is a social program until you tell them that I pay into it for your entire working life and get a payment after you reach 62 years of age. Then your payment is determined by on how much you paid into it. That’s not Socialism.
Banks and the elite leadership are the only ones who make out, and they make a killing. You ever hear of a ponzu scam.
Personnel responsibility , take it.
I have no idea who told people that they deserve or are entitled to something. If you want something you have to go out and work for it.

A lot of things have been going through my head. Good bad and in between. The what ifs. What if are and can be brutal. They can put you down a bad path of depression. General these thoughts last only a couple of minutes. I am a logical thinker and this helps in these situation. Over the past months I have not been talking about cancer that much, well at least not like during treatments. There is really nothing to say or report. Like I said its a wait and see game during the 90 days.

Those of you who are in favor of socialism send your steem here and I will distribute it in the sprite of socialism.

Thank you I know if I ask people would give. I am ok. Its hard but things have been worse.
I know the 7th is your birthday and it will be a good day for both of us. The 8th is mine. Another good day.

I have been dealing with the Department of Motor Vehicles all day still here. Well for the past 3 hours anyway

I came home and took a nap. Nurse Steve is on the way. I got the plates done. Still have to get the drivers license.

It's great that you have reached the 90 day mark. Really hoping you get to 180 days without having to go back at it. Your body needs time to heal!

As I live in one of the most left leaning and therefor completely broke states (IL) your socialism comments hit home.

You are born with nothing and you are owed exactly that much in life. If you want something go out and bust your ass to get it. Do I enjoy working 41 hours out of 48 over a weekend right before my kid goes away to a mini camp with her class for 3 days and not seeing her...hell no. But I do enjoy living in a nice house in a safe neighborhood with great schools, so I get shit done.

Sadly I'm at the tail end of those who were raised with the mindset that you are owed nothing in life and you need to earn anything you want. Not sure where all the money will come from that the socialist want to spend (give away) so they keep getting even more votes (it has nothing to do with giving a shit about the people, it's purely a vote grab).

Illinois proves this doesn't work as people are fleeing the state at record numbers since they keep spending and raising our taxes. People that earn money leave, the freeloaders stay. In the end there will be nobody left to pay taxes and only freeloaders will be left, then the state will und up 100% broke.

California, (NY) and (IL) are just three of the states in trouble. There are more but those three are the worst, they all are high taxes and social programs. And they are all run buy Liberals. You keep pandering to the masses and you run out of resources.
Look at Detroit. People moved out and the inter structure of the city collapsed.
I don’t get these people they keep voting shit people as leaders. It reminds me of when I studied Germany from 1932-42 same shit.

The college grads are the worst
There answer to everything is tax the evil corporation. How did that work in the past.

I am not into praying but I will root for you for sure hoping it will affect the outcome in a positive way :)

I sure do appreciate it :)

It does make a difference. Gives me strenth and the ability to keep an positive head

Great news that you are improving!
I am A Libertarian I cant see how letting a government agency determine who gets what could ever work.

i agree. It can’t work, and it never has
People think that the government is the answer to all their problems. Its mostly the young who have no experience of the world. Then they get older and realize there mistakes and there opinion changes.

We have common schools, a post office, fire service, police service... I'm not in favor of socialism (I'm actually fairly libertarian myself), but to call a national health care part of socialism is forgetting all the other common-good things we have.

I lived in England for many years. And for all the disadvantages of the National Health Service, I didn't have to be scared of getting sick or hurt for no fault of my own. This was doubly important when I became a single mother with low-income.

What does all the other common good have to do with national- health care. Like schools, post office and police. Does one have to do with the other.
Schools are run locally. Post office is a private enterprise. Police are also local.
You will be treated in any emergency room.
Why would you want to give the government that amount of control. I have federal healthcare. I can tell you that you don’t want it.
