Milk tea drinks are known to be invented in Taiwanese in the 80's. Milk tea, from it's name, is a combination of tea and milk.

Drinks like this are bought best when the weather is hot. The price of milk tea ranges from Php 100-175 (around $2 to $3.36) depending on the kind of ingredients used. Some known milk tea in the Philippines are Macao, Chatime, Gongcha, and Coco. Zentea however is a local milk tea located in Tacloban City in Leyte Philippines.
