The Magic Plant - Poem

There was a plant,
Deep within the forest,
Said to be possesed of magical powers,
To heal and to hold powers unimaginable.

Many went in search.
None ever returned.

Strong spells protected it,
Many more prevented it from being seen.

Said to be created a million years ago,
When earth was created.

To be of last hope to all,
To possess immortality,
It needed to be kep hidden.

It was time for it to be found,
By the person meant to be.

He came stumbling onto the island,
Tearing beasts apart,
He wore a mask of their blood.

It was time,
The time was now.
