eSteem: Interview with the Founder @good-karma

in #esteem4 years ago (edited)

The eSteem Team has been putting out a lot of exciting updates lately like the announcement of their new ESTM token and a new release of their eSteem Surfer desktop application which enables you to surf Steem without using a web browser. So we thought this would be the perfect time to release our recent interview with the Founder of eSteem: @good-karma.

Audio only version

eSteem is the longest running mobile application for the Steem blockchain. It's a great way to access and post to the Steem blockchain from your mobile device or desktop. They have a lot of exciting announcements in the works, so be sure to follow @esteemapp on your favorite Steem interface.

Steem Marketing

I use eSteem almost exclusively for its enhanced User Interface. I connect with it almost everyday.
What a great application. My fullest Bravo! goes out to the eSteem App team! @esteemapp

Yes, eSteem is my first choice for a long time.

Is there a way, to get the Esteem App on a Blackberry OS? :-)

Blackberry OS had update last time 5 years ago and Windows Phone OS seem to be also struggling to survive in Android and iOS world. In future we have plans to support KaiOS but we will see how mobile market evolves in coming year. We don't have plans for Blackberry and Windows Phone OS.

You guys plan on doing some marketing? That is what a lot of these apps are missing, marketing.

Thank you for your answer.
I know not much about all this with programming applications and so. But the hope dies last. :-) I love my Blackberry and hope it will alive long time. :-)
Before it, i had a insane Windows Phone from Nokia. (I hate Android and Apple:-)
Hope Huawai crush this both. Later, i do look again, what your Project does.

I have a Huawei Ascend Y300 Android smartphone since 2013, and even the Android operating system and the factory applications are slow, lagging and crashing on it.
Huawei makes Chinese junk. Industrial waste, trash.
The USA shoul have kept the ban on Huawei. It is totally/absolutely understandable and rightful/deserved.
I would not recommend any Huawei smartphone (or any other Huawei product) to no one.

A Y300 is very expensive(not^^) and you can not call him a Smartphone. :-) It is a illnes. :-)
who buys cheap buys twice.
Huawai at least makes the market steam and is good for the supply demand ratio. In addition, the now really pretty mobile phones can build for acceptable prices. Let Apple and co go to hell. :-) They are all produced in China, by the way. ;-)

Releasing something like the Huawei Ascend Y300 is a sin (a waste of resources and the people's time and money) (and environmental pollution), no matter how cheap it is.
And probably that is not the only industrial waste/trash/Chinese junk they released.
There should be a more strict standard on releasing electronic devices to avoid the above mentioned things.
I bought some cheap things earlier, because I am more close to poor than rich, but I will not buy the same shit twice, and probably I will wait longer next time to be able to buy a little bit more expensive (and more reliable) smartphone, but I will not buy Huawei again. I will probably buy a Sony smartphone. Nowadays they have affordable (around $100 USD) smartphones.
For example Sony Xperia XA, Sony Xperia E3, Sony Xperia E5.
You hate Apple, I hate Huawei. We both have our reasons.

Fantastic interview! I have used eSteem since I joined, and it has been pretty incredible to watch it evolve into what it has become today!

Are you a vampire then? :D

No no, i just Vant to nibble on yoir neck

Some official application, by the way it would be good if there were easier ways to use the platform, for people with little experience. I know it is not difficult, but there are for example housewives who want to write certain content and they find it tedious the current form or a new user that is captured by a simple google search.

I use eSteem daily as my first choice when posting. I usually deviate only when making an Actifit post. I wish them much success.

I just arrive here.

Esteem is a great application built on steem blockchain. Many steemians owe their existence here to @esteemapp.

Always have loved it always supporting and great connection to community as well.

I've been looking for a company like Seem, very interesting.

good interview, esteem app is like a node very good idea

Exciting to hear the future eSteem plans and just what we will be able to do with it now and down the track. You now have a great track record and I believe new steemians can have every confidence in @good-karma and his team of developers to deliver. I especially believe the idea of expanding mobile applications will be a big draw card.

one of the most important people on steem, easily … thank you

Everyday I use @esteemapp.
The app condition is very great and many many profitable.
So everyone please use it and you stag steam and get many many steam token

Yes. I only tried it once so far, but my favorite new feature is the post boosting with eSteem Points (ESTM).
Probably only Busy, dPoll and eSteem Surfer keeps me posting blog posts on the Steem blockchain.

It was cool to look this video :) .... I hope we see soon more some videos come from esteem :)

😜 🤩 Awesome to see you facing the crowd @good-karma... no fear! Well done!

What a journey you made... It's really nice to see STEEM app developers like you guys, creating new businesses and opportunities that are changing and will revolutionize the world. In 10 years, the world will not be the same anymore. Prepare your children!

Wondering.. Is there any app apart from using discord or steemchat in the pipeline that will allow us to communicate or does everyone think discord is enough and that there is no need to migrate?

I personally can't handle Discord's interface. So ugly, so counter-intuitive, so clunky.
I really miss MSN. 15 years ago we could video chat with up to 10 other people simultaneously, send files, clear audio, etc. And it wasn't a privacy-destroyer like Skype is. Free, all you needed was a name and password.

Sounds good, Esteem.
Gotta check it out...
The cable headphones win ;)
Watch out with that wifi radiation, especially
close to your head...

esteem is awesome

here is some feedback esteem is amazing so much faster and you have the chance to reach higher audience with Esteem great platform thank you

The introduction of ESTM token will boost the use of esteem app, finally a new way of receiving a reward. Good continuity.

eSteem is my favourite app and I use mobile and surfer both. Today upgraded the surfer version and its just amazing. Looking forward to get updated for Android too..
