Kopie Foam Grassoppher.
Dictyophorus spumans, koppie foam grasshopper or rooibaadjie, is a species of grasshopper in the Pyrgomorphidae family from Africa. The name "foamy grasshopper" comes from the insect's ability to produce poisonous foam from its thoracic gland. It extends up to 80 millimeters (3.1 in) long.
Neck protectors have a warty surface, and the colors vary greatly. This is toxic because of the poison it takes from its food, which includes a large number of poisonous and unpleasant plants such as milkweed.
