ALMOST THERE...

At the time I am writing this part I am about 114 steem away from becoming a minnow. More than four months of dedication to this course and I am almost reaching my goal. It is a great feeling. I can't wait to see my status/profile change from plankton to minnow. That would put a big smile on my face, I even get excited just by thinking about it.

All I want for Christmas is steem

Appreciation. As some of you already know most of my steem were earned and not bought. At first, it was a slow and painful journey. I made almost nothing in the first few weeks. It was frustrating and I almost gave up until @kevinwong and his curation team came along. Prior to that time, I did not know who he was and till this moment we've hardly exchanged comments. So I am guessing his is not directly involved in the whole upvoting process but I am grateful anyway. I have also shown support for some of his projects, although I do not agree with some of his propositions. That hasn't stopped him (or whoever that is using his account to upvote my posts) from supporting me.

At some point, I decided not to be so dependent on Kevin's upvotes and to be honest at some point they were not coming that much. So I engaged more and in the process, I came across this two very wonderful beings: @nuthman and @minismallholding. These two individuals have been instrumental to my growth, I can't overemphasize this enough. They did not just upvote my posts but also left valuable comments which I appreciate a lot. So thanks, guys. I hope someday (when I become crypto rich) I can travel halfway across the world to meet you guys and we all can share a bottle of wine.

Going forward, in my search for the next big thing I luckily stumbled upon this platform, musing, which I must say was the game changer for me. I got to ask and answer questions which I got rewarded for. I was earning thrice what I earned in weeks for writing posts, which took more time, in just one day! Most of my earnings from the platform, which should be around $200-$300 (I think) has been powered up. So if you have valuable knowledge you can share and you don't mind spending your time answering and asking questions then @musing (https://musing.io) is the platform for you. So I want to say a big thank you to @jonching and his team of curators for the great work they are doing.

As regards communities that have contributed to my growth, I have to mention @wafrica and their curation team. Although I wish their discord sever would be more active like it was some months back but I understand that the entire crypto sphere is suffering right now and a lot of people are losing interest. However, I think it is high time communities go back to the drawing board and evaluate their position and restrategize.

I hope in the coming weeks I will be here to celebrate with you guys on my success and highlight my new goals going forward.
