Dreams of a Soul - Poem
If hope could fly away,
Leaving ashes behind,
Would it do so,
In a moments notice.
Hesitation paved the way,
For inaction to take place.
Taking root in it,
It was a plastic to catch.
Picking it,
Walking back with the dreamers,
The night was the most beautiful.
Everything fading away,
With sliding droplet down the slope,
It seems indeed like a dream.
One that seems magical,
Impossible to ever take place.
To take a walk in that strawberry field,
The heart pounds a little harder,
Skipping a beat or frozen altogether,
That dream melted away into water.
