Philippines tradition (flores de mayo)
Every year in the month of May, we always have an activity called "flores de mayo." I'm not so sure if I explained it right, because this words came from the Spanish. Flores de mayo or flowers of May, I'm a Filipino so I'm not that sure if this is correct, forgive me. lol

Actually flores de mayo happened in the church but today is the end of the month so they're making a procession. The procession will happened in the whole town, it is a sign that the flores de mayo is ended. And if there's procession there will be a reyna elena of each brgy. Reyna elena is like a Queen or I'm not so sure what is it. Reyna Elena wear's an elegant dress and rounded by a flower that were put in a piece of wood.
I don't really understand why there is a flores de mayo in the month of May, maybe it's for mother mary. I can't explain well so I'll just show you some photos.
