LENTIL MASALA 🍅🌿🍅

in #esteem5 years ago (edited)

Hello my Dearest Foodies,

Indian food is one of my favorites, however, it's been a while since I made it. This is why I decided to finally make this BIG COMBO, lol.

I have several recipes for different types of lentils and chickpeas, but I always make this cauliflower with green peas and sometimes even with potatoes and carrots. And I usually make lots of it, because I can eat it for few days and I have to give some to my daughter, lol. She loves it too.

I am not sure, but maybe you find the amount of ingredients too high, although I did cut it down a little. However, it is difficult for me to create the recipe for smaller amount, because I am used to making so much. Anyway, this is the type of food that tastes better the next day, lol.

My dear this look so good 🤤

Thank you so much my Dear Denisse, I am happy you like it 😍

You are welcome my dear. You make amazing food

I for sure can not show this post she loves Indian food and would cook many of the dishes making them mild so I would try them :) but now that she cant have many spices she doesn't make it anymore and its almost like torture for her to see it

but that said all those dishes look so good

Are you talking about your wife? Why can't she have spices?

Yes and she has IC Interstitial Cystitis, and spice make her flare, especially most of the Indian spices sadly, so now she eats a limited and plain diet

I am sorry to hear that! That must be very difficult!

ohh yes she struggles with it, its one of the diseases where there really is no treatment for, you just have to cope with it I so feel for her

Oh my goodness, I can't even imagine!!! What about herbs? such as basil, fresh coriander, parsley, thyme, dill and oregano? They are very mild specially when fresh, but they add lovely favor. But I assuming onion, garlic and lemon is out too!

Yes she can have a few of those I think she has an app that we check, but we do use Parsely thyme and sage often I think Oregano we have used as well which she is OK with

Oh there is an app! That's good, at least some type of help that makes here life easier!

I love love Indian food. This looks simply amazing dear Lena. I can just smell the spices through the screen, lol I'll have to try your Masala recipes this weekend! Beautiful presentation :)

Yes, the aroma of those spices is truly amazing and t's even better to buy them whole and grind them in Magic Bullet or something similar. I have NINJA. Thank you so much my Dear Mrs. Bird. I really appreciate your visit and your lovely comment 🌸💖🌸
