Beautiful Sunday: hunting for nice sunset by the river, ไล่ล่าพระอาทิตย์ตกที่แม่น้ำ

This is my entry for #beautifulsunday hosted by @ace108. Yesterday was quite disappointing for me as I could not take any sunset photos.

So, on Sunday afternoon I went for a walk near the river and went on a short busy trip. Still, there were thick clouds in the sky. This is the beginning of the rainy season. I found a newly converted warehouses into a hub of artistic shops and new genre coffee shops near the Si-Phraya Pier.

Opposite the pier is the most luxurious shopping complex in Bangkok: IconSiam. There, you could find the biggest iStudio on the third floor over looking the river. Taking photos from the open court during the night could be a very good experience! This was one of my photos taken there last month.

However, the my short walk made me realised that there is still so much to see and learn, and that I should not take things for granted. The boat was half empty which was very strange to me! Usually, I would be afraid that the boats carried too many passengers.

เมื่อวานนี้เราไปเดินเล่นแถวสี่พระยา และนั่งเรือเล่นเพราะเมื่อวานนี้เราไม่ค่อยสนุกกับการถ่ายรูปเลย ท้องฟ้ามีแต่เมฆหนาและไม่มีแสงสวยๆของพระอาทิตย์ตก เราจึงต้องไปแก้ตัวอีกรอบ การไปเดินเล่นครั้งนี้ทำให้เราตระหนักว่า ยังมีอะไรให้เราเรียนรู้อีกมากในกรุงเทพฯ ในเรื่องวัฒนธรรมและประวัติศาสตร์ เราเดินไปเจอโกดังเก่าริมน้ำที่กลายเป็น ศูนย์กลางของคนที่เป็นศิลปิน และมีร้านกาแฟที่สุดชิลล์หลายร้าน ทำให้คิดถึงแหล่งรวมพวกศิลปินที่ต่างประเทศ เราคงต้องหาเวลาไปเที่ยวแถวนั้นอีก

เรานั่งเรือและถ่ายรูปไอคอนสยาม และวิวริมแม่น้ำอย่างสบายใจ คลื่นนํ้าแรงมากกระแทกกาบเรือเป็นระยะ ลมเย็นสบายพัดมาแรงจนหมวกปลิวเกือบตกลงน้ำ เราชอบการเดินทางที่เรียบง่าย และชมความงามของธรรมชาติที่อยู่รอบตัวเรา เราเคยมีเพื่อนที่ทำหน้าที่รีวิวรีสอร์ตห้าและหกดาวทั่วโลก และต้องถ่ายรูปทำหนังสือด้วย หลังจากได้คุยกันโดยบังเอิญ เขาบอกว่าชีวิตเขาหาความสุขและความตื่นตาตื่นใจยากเหลือเกิน เวลาไปเที่ยวที่ไหน ก็อดเปรียบเทียบกับรีสอร์ตห้าดาวบนเกาะต่างๆที่เขาเคยไปไม่ได้ พระอาทิตย์ตกทั่วไปก็ดูหน้าเบื่อเพราะไม่สวยเท่ากับที่เคยเห็นบนเกาะส่วนตัว เราจึงรู้สึกดีใจมากที่เรายังมีความสุขกับสิ่งต่างๆในปัจจุบัน เราไม่ไปเปรียบเทียบกับสถานที่ที่เราเคยไปมาในอดีต กรุงเทพฯมีอะไรให้ค้นหาและเพลิดเพลินอีกมากมาย
