How was your Sunday?
It’s a lazy one for me because I wasn’t feeling well.
Had a headache so after running errands, hubby and I decide to have dinner in our favorite Chinese restaurant.
So I had spicy sweet and sour vege soup, sizzling peking duck in spicy Thai sauce, egg fried rice and spicy dark chocolate ice cream. Yep , I love spicy foods.
I tried to make the pecking duck with spicy sauce not too long ago with the help of a recipe that I search through net but it didn’t taste exactly as good as the restaurant’s pecking duck. Perhaps, I should ask their secret ingredient next time. 😅
After paying our bill we received a free gift, a 2019 calendar. It’s one of the stablishments way of giving back the love to their customers specially during the holidays. I like the birds picture and I’m wondering what does the two birds symbolize in Chinese beliefs.
It’s just a small gift but I really appreciate it.
