Happy birthday to me!
Hello!
It’s the 21st of February again, a day my own personal new year starts. I really do not fancy January 1st as well as February 21st, this is when my age actually increases by one. A new year with a new chapter, new level alongside new challenges.
I was thinking about my last year that ran from 21st of February 2018 through to yesterday 20th February 2019, and I saw that it was not the big things that counted but the small things. The smile and banter I shared with friends and colleagues, the joy gotten from finishing up tasks and all.
Last year I gave love a chance, fell in love and it was glorious. Although the relationship did not last for 4 months, but I cherished every moment in it. Hopefully I would get to be in a relationship again in this new age of mine, but I would not stop loving; that is the essence of living.
I wish myself a happy birthday, long life in good health and all blessings available for me shall not miss me.
