Srikaya, Jajanan Khas Hanya Muncul Dibulan Ramadhan
Jajanan Srikaya, banyak orang yang salah mengira bahwa jajanan ini terbuat dari buah Srikaya walaupun diberi nama menyerupai buah-buahan. Jajanan khas ini hanya muncul dibulan Ramadhan saja dan biasa disantap sebagai Takjil.
Makanan ini disukai banyak orang dan bisa disantap oleh berbagai kalangan, karena selain harganya murah juga rasanya enak dan terasa pas di lidah. Bahan untuk membuat makanan ini adalah santan, daun pandan, roti tawar, pisang dan kadangkala ditambah dengan kolang-kaling (buah atap).
Jajanan ini bisa didapatkan di daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan Kota Sidoarjo, dan hanya dijual pada jam menjelang buka puasa. Harga yang ditawarkan relatif murah sekitar Rp. 5000,- sampai Rp. 6000,- walaupun begitu banyak orang yang tetap ingin menikmatinya karena rasa lezat dan tidak terasa berat di perut (hpx)
