Steem is on an Upward Trend!
Greetings Steemians,
I'm feeling pretty excited about Steem right now. Have you all looked at the market?
Now I'm not a professional in the crypto trading arena, and if you want financial advice from me that is totally cool, but you might want to start by getting yourself a tent first and preparing for the worst! (I guess that is somewhat of a disclaimer.😄)
I'm here for the long haul, and personally I don't worry too much about the market, because I see the long term potential in the utility of Steem.
I still get pretty excited when it pumps however, because for many this is very important, and there is no denying that an upward trend always has a positive impact on the ecosystem.
So let's take a look at some Coinmarketcap charts shall we?

We like green, and I think that (24h) volume is pretty impressive as well.
Sometimes when we see green, this is an indicator that BTC is on the rise as well. I wonder if that is the case right now? Well let's take a look!

Although the Steem chart shows a close relation to BTC trend, close inspection shows Steem has a mind of its own right now. When I see Steem green and BTC red, I get very excited.
I wonder what is causing this pump? Any ideas?
Could it be because Vitalik loves Steem?

I have a little Steem in Binance right now, and it's tempting to try getting "trade savvy", however I made a commitment to @streetstyle for #spud8 and therefore will be saving the Steem I have for the power up!
I would love to hear your thoughts on the current trend with Steem at the moment. My futuremind says great things are ahead, which I have felt from the start.

Could very well be the case. Either way it's a pretty looking chart, and fingers crossed that the trend continues :)
Im think the downwards trend that started June 1st will carry on 2more months or so still.. we still have to wait to see the sell off for the avoidance of the crypto tax year too 😜
Good point. Those that sell might regret it when we go to a cashless 5G smart grid prison society. I guess it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Thats exactly why im into crypto, i am unbanked by choice since 10years and i know also of the way the future will be with microchip implants and smartcitys/social credit system and worse of all a UBI.
Its also important to have physical silver and gold too 😀
Micro-chipping may not even be necessary with the 5G SMART grid. The SMART devices accomplish almost everything necessary that an implant would cover (in terms of tracking, entry point access, access to funds, ect.) Nano tech in our bodies will likely interface, and so amalgamation of man and machine begins. (Has already begun.)
Couple this with the social credit system, and (mostly) everyone will become willing participants. Don't adhere, you're locked out, removed from your money, (which ever form it may take) removed from resources, removed from society, possibly put in to social reform facilities. (Prison camps.)
How will those who choose to remove themselves even get off grid when the plan is to blanket the globe? Even those who obtain the skills to live in the wilderness might not be safe from the the systems reach. Some crazy drones could locate you and physically remove you, (or end you). This kind of tech is already a reality!
Let's not even get into what 24–86 GHz freqs can be used for.. And the implications of health risks/effects..
It's pretty daunting to think about what is coming. Oh yes, you are on point my friend.
The root of it all is fear. The system as we know it could be dismantled in a matter of no time at all if everyone followed their moral compass and disposed of fear. Dependence of the system and fear keep the wheels going. The question is, will humanity be ok with where the machine takes us? I think not, but by then it will be too late. In my opinion it's gone too far as it is.
Silver and gold is probably not a bad option, indeed. 🙂 (and some tin foil..)
I love communicating with people like yourself who has been researchin and keeping up to date! I havent kept up with Smart dust and the nano computers, but that makes sense of what you say about the skin being the antenia so to say, and not needing a microchip. My guess is the implant will be an intro to the next step, and they see who takes it when offered and normalised and then those who dont will be targetted ("bad" social credit score ect)
I think the best way to survive the fucked up, non avoidable future, is to go seasteading on EMR shielded boats or an old oil rig 😛 oooor underground..
Im living like a land pirate for nearly a decade with no banks, keys, adress ect, and now I got a Wirex card! The point of bitcoin is exactly this, to give the free people a chance to trade in the future of globalisation, which is why Im so deep into it although I dislike the overuse of tech 🤣

It was an interesting 24+ hours.
It has since dropped a little but still exiting to see.
Yeah it's dropped a bit now lol. Not surprised, but I still have faith Steem will go to the moon eventually. My only concern is quantum computers destroying the encryption, which is a real threat to crypto as a whole.
