Dragonflies
Dragonflies have two pairs of wings so there is no need to flap wings simultaneously.
They flap the wings about 30 times per second. The flying speed of dragonflies can reach 100 km / h.
How to fly a dragonfly is similar to a helicopter; they can fly forward, backward, up, and down.
Dragonflies are also capable of flying off due to strong flying muscles and wings that can move independently. Dragonflies are able to distinguish between light color, ultraviolet, and even polarized light.
This ability allows the dragonfly to detect reflections in water.
Each compound eye contains about 30,000 individual lenses.
In addition, they have a 360º viewing angle because of the position of their eyes. Dragonflies are usually found near water bodies such as ponds, lakes, slow-flowing streams, and other wetlands.
This insect loves a healthy body of water so it is considered a good source of water indicators.
