Ingredients for my Bangkok Meals SublimeSunday

It's SublimeSunday, initiated by @c0ff33a! This is a place you can post whatever you like and Thank God for that. I need places to post food for my new baby @fitinfunfood blog and so here we go again.

I can't post my crap photos into food contests against all the food stylists we have here on STEEM. This would be way too embarrassing. So @c0ff33a is stuck with me for the foreseeable future.

Currently I am working my way up the 1311 food photos I have in just ONE of the folders on my hard drive for food. I'm just posting by whatever theme comes into my head and then working the healthy eating message into that.

Today I am talking about ingredients. I take photos of them before I make meals a lot. I picked what looked like good enough photos and then I'm really looking at them in Esteem. I can't see them in the thumbnails so this is semi-efficient.

These are all from July - December 2016 while I was in Bangkok Thailand in case you want to keep track.

This cornucopia is from July and we will move forward in time from here.

We've got limes, an apple, cabbage, squash and cucumber on the plate ready to cut up.

Left to right behind that are sardines, Real Earth Root Blend, Purple rice, Bok Choy, Real Salt and Cilantro.

In the back is a tube of anchovy paste, apple cider vinegar and coconut oil not shown.

All of this gets cut up and at about halfway through looks like this:

I can see I put turmeric and black pepper on it too.

Then later I have the sardine fillets on it,

And that was the end of that! No more photos. You cannot enter a food contest like this, I assure you.

The next photo shows the one and only half watermelon I got in SE Asia. Too much trouble! When I can buy it nicely cut up from street vendors, this is not worth it to me.

I'm mixing it into an omelette I bought and cut up with rice. And all the other assorted goodies are still there.

This is another street omelette with street pineapple and some kind of pork on a stick. The veggies are coming, but you just have to imagine them.

The bags have steamed sweet potatoes and pumpkin I used to put in the fridge for snacks.

Oops! No, on this day, I used them in another salad-like meal. This one has more pineapple, and also lime, dill and cilantro coming.

I ate these anchovies constantly. They were cheap, delicious, and the only version I could find without tomatoes that flare up my arthritis. I can eat these with lime juice only on them. This is a big YUM for me.

ALL of the Malaysian canned anchovies have tomatoes so far as I can tell, and I really miss eating them.

That's it for this week. As you see I don't eat much processed food and have a lot of variety in most meals. I used a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera for these photo.

I am quite sure you could enter a food contest, your photos are really good and the salad with Sardines looks really tasty finished.

The steamed sweet potatoes, pumpkin and pineapple sounds a fun combination - looks very colourful as well.
