Various assistance schemes have also been implemented, ranging from subsidizing production facilities, direct capital assistance, farming loans and so on, which are very diverse. However, the result is that Indonesian farmers are still in low income, still dependent on various assistance, and still always think they cannot move alone in carrying out their farming business.

Likewise, agricultural extension programs that have been running so far, have not been able to optimally assist farmers in improving their standard of living, and have not been able to encourage farmers to find their own problem solving in carrying out their farming business.
