Walaupun SMA bukan sekolah yang akan mencetak siswanya untuk siap bekerja, namun saat ini di SMA telah diajarkan mata pelajaran PKW ( prakarya kewirausahaan )yang siap membantu siswa berwirausaha ketika siswa tersebut tamat sekolah kelak.

Pada mata pelajaran PKW diajarkan cara pengolahan produk sehingga dihasilkan produk yang bisa dipasarkan. Salah satunya adalah proses pembuatan telur asin.

Telur asin banyak digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia sehingga bisa menjadi produk andalan. Pembuatan telur asini sangat mudah hanya dengan membalur telur dengan abu gosok yang telah dibubuhi garam lalu disimpan beberapa hari. Setelah itu telur asin siap dipasarkan.
