HOW TO MAKE COCONUT OIL!

Do you have lots of coconut and don't know what to do with it??

Worry no more because am here to help you...you use those coconut for oil to prevent it from staying too long in your kitchen and probably spoiling.

To do this you have to make sure the coconut is matured just like the one you can use for your coconut rice.

Coconut oil can be used to cook like your regular cooking oil, could be used as a body oil or hair oil.

Some mother's use it for their new born babies and it makes the babies skin glow.

PROCEDURE

• Break your coconut into tiny pieces,the quantity you have you would dependent on the quantity of the oil.

• Grind it with your blender,if your blender is not strong,then try pounding it a bit before grinding.

• While grinding, please add little warm water.

• Afterwards pour into a bowl and keep in the refrigerator to cake,you can keep it for up to 6 hours or overnight.

• Once it's caked on top, carefully scope the cake out

• Put your pan on fire and heat the cake bit by bit,it will start melting and the end product is your coconut oil.

N/B: The cake is like a thick white substance at the surface of the bowl,you can use the coconut milk left in the bowl after scooping the cake for your coconut rice or any other coconut meal.

You can try this with 4 or 5 coconut for a start to see how it's going to be, then the next time you can increase the quantity to get more litres of your coconut oil.

I hope this was very useful, at least be proud of your own production,not everything must be bought in the market, normally I hate buying my coconut oil in the market because you may never know other things that could be added and how pure it is.
