Flower Friday on Steemit
Did you know we do not have flowerfriday going on steemit? Here is a beautiful shot by @bxlphabet anyway. He took this photo in the Denver Botanical Gardens Native Plant area and I think some people might call this a weed.
I think the green, purple and yellow are lovely. But it looks like the buds are all covered in tiny spikes that would not feel too good if they got into your skin. I think they might be warding off bugs or birds but would work for people too.
I have not heard from @bxlphabet since he told me his friend passed away yesterday. I hope he is able to grieve in peace and is not hurting too much. Maybe if he sees this post it will remind him of better times in the past and give him hope for better times to come.
