Damian missed a point which he needs to consider, the few people he is going to miss and those who will miss him. His mum, dad, siblings and handful of friends, nobody wants to be a friends to a failure. It’s the adage.
Aside from the reality of hell in eternity and his parent crying profusely over him, Damien used this minutes to ponder through his life. He thought of it all and looked though his life, if by chance he might have plot his own downfall by himself. Hell isn’t a funny place so if any man wants to go there he or she should really really count the cost. It never occurred to him that being born into a Christian home and obeying all the Mosaic Law and religious tenets and rules doesn’t account for anything, it is the connection with Christ that matters and to do that, he needs to give his life to Jesus.

The thought just came in like a flash and minister into him about surrendering his life to Jesus. Damian didn’t waste much time, he has watched it on TV several time of a call to surrender one’s life to Jesus. He knew the ritual, the rituals has deceived him till date, but this isn’t one of those rituals, this is a mind changing action. He went on his knees and ask the Lord Jesus to come into his life, confessed his sins and right there and then Damian felt a breeze of change surrounding him. A call went through some minutes after and it was his own brother from the US who called and asked of him, he didn’t dropped the call without dropping him some funds. That was just the beginning of greatness in the life of Damian.

Six years down the line I can see Damian's wife in the kitchen with the cookie cutter making some sweet donought for the children.
