A little word of correction, get angry, go
The priest would beg me night and day
With Church things, I seem not to flow.

Tired of it all, I knelt down
Father, remove this pride gown
That I might do your work with a broken heart
And go with the rapture at last.

Can't ever continue like this
Works of the flesh, myself, my pride
Let it die, that I might become the bride.

As I, like Daniel open this window
To pray, to seek thine Holy Face
