Was told it's greener, pack all in
Despite the cries of mama, saw her crying
Better me I thought, making money, big toys
Pacified by the future, happy, I'll join the boys.

To the city, all hope high
Each potholes we conquered as we drive
Little further in, stopped by
Checkpoints, soldiers on guard.
..
...
Long story made short, two people shot
There journey to a greener pasture gone
Leaving an innocent family to cry the loss
Aren't we on this journey at all?

...
And so they end there story
Why wouldn't we stay in one place
Some for a change, we, to a better life
That dream of having a house with a built-in furnace.

Two years of moving to the city
Polluted air caused cancer♋, bed ridden
Can't stop staring at the ceiling
Can't stop asking, to what end is mankind living.

Built in furnaces are nice, but pollution is not. Perhaps, the city causes us to see we're all just ants/rats/animals rushing about and then it ends?
