Did it all start that way, awry?
Much older was the accusations
A husband with an odd birthday
Makes a perfect wife of depression
Cooling it off in the day
A drug to calm the nerve in suppression
Thinking of death, of pills.

Moments after,dark lovely day
Regrets filled marriage
Closely knit, tightly knot
Who would dare break this bondage
A slap was all that was needed
Following blows upon hit
My dear took it all, and smiled.

The advocate wouldn't take it no more
Law suits on the way, say no more
Easy in his going out, renewed love
Will he ever say me this,"sorry"
Regret his way, never wanted divorce
To a love gone wrong, quietness
To a hubby wronged, muteness

To a child left alone, clueless
A home wasted on husband pride
A wife depressed of it all
Outdoor life, bleak
Morally, things gone wrong.
And we are here, dry
Dry as the wind
