WiFi Connected Devices Unable to Connect to a Network Printer
If you guys are using Wi-Fi when printing a document, you may experience problem on printing especially if you are going to print a large sized document.
Just few weeks ago, a co-employee of mine called me because he cannot print on a network printer using his laptop.
When I checked his laptop's Wi-Fi connection, I could see that it is currently connected but it was unable to connect to a network printer.
As it turns out the problem is not the laptop's Wi-Fi itself. I just restarted the router where his laptop is connected and boom; he can print again.
What could be the problem
A router can become hot and become unresponsive when it is overwhelmed on the number of requests or connection that it is processing.
When it happens you just have to turn it off then turn it on again to restart the device.
Your Wi-Fi could be old, if the hanging becomes frequent it may need to be replaced with a new one.
