Laptop Suddenly Turns-on Airplane Mode and WiFi Can't be Turned-on Using the Keyboard Shortcut
Just today, the WiFi connection of the laptop of one my co-employee is suddenly gone. When she cannot find the way to turn it on, she called me for help.
I tried to turn-on it on by pressing the keyboard shortcut in her laptop. There's also no way to turn it on in the action center and in the settings.
I tried to turn-off Airplane Mode but only her laptop's wired connection is showing-up in the task bar and the Wi-Fi icon is nowhere to be found.
When I looked at the status of her computer's WiFi in the Device Manager I found out that her laptop's wireless device is reporting some problem that's why Windows 10 automatically disabled it.
If you encountered this problem you just need to enable it in the Device Manager.
I made a 20-seconds video tutorial for this problem and it is applicable on both WIRELESS and WIRED connection.
IMPORTANT: In the video I showed how to disable a wired connection. If you are going to enable a WiFi or wireless connection just find the one with a "wireless" word in its name. YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK the connection that you want to enable/disable.

Check which services are running on your system to determine which one might be causing the problem. If it's a driver problem, reinstall the wireless adapter driver or check if your hardware is infected. Make sure your laptop https://thecursedcrusade.com/best-laptop-for-medical-school/ is connected to the Wi-Fi network and turned on. In Device Manager, open the Network Adapters tab and make sure that they are configured correctly. If you don't have Internet access, check your cable connection. If there is an Internet connection, try logging in with an account with administrator privileges.
