The main benefit that users can get from Essentia framework is that they can manage their data including their IDs, wallets, files, accounts, and many more without the need of third parties. Besides, users can access them from anywhere all over the world. The framework truly creates a trustable operating data environment. The users can securely access to third-party services directly and interacting with them without worrying that their data will be stolen. Moreover, they have the choices to either share data or information or not.
The decentralized storage allows the data to be maintained and encrypted. The encrypted data will not be visibly connected with their IDs. The owner of the data is the only one who can access and use the data but if they want to, they can give access to the data to other users.
The Team
Essentia was founded by three founders. The first one is Mateo Zago which is also the Project Leaf of the company. His first business was eight years ago. He started small with only 10€ as the venture capital but today it gets bigger and bigger cooperating with Uber, Facebook, and other Fortune 500 companies. He is also known as the author of best-selling books on Amazon. Two of the most popular ones are Twitter Marketing Guide and Facebook Bible. His expertise in blockchain tech has been proven as he has become an advisor in blockchain-related startups for almost five years.
The second founder is Mirco Mongiardino. His position is as Product Lead. The position suits him well because he has powerful experience in developing technology products for various purposes such as media acquisition, data analysis, and promotion data driven. This successful web entrepreneur has started building his first company since he was teenagers. He is also a Bitcoin enthusiast. His colleagues know Mirco as a very disciplined person. No wonder that he could manage a team very well.
Vladimir Holubovych is the other founder. He holds the position of Operations Lead for Essentia. When he was a teenager, he made some viral advertisements for Italian TVs. His creativity has led to a great success. He made some investments in some startups. Since 2014, he has focused on developing blockchain-based startups. He is also an expert on marketing strategies.
Together they lead a dedicated team consisting of 19 members with tech and design expertise and 10 members concerning on business and social matters. The whole team is advised by six respective and experienced advisors.
The Roadmap
The Roadmap of Essential falls into three parts. They are the software development progress, hardware development progress, and public agenda. During 2018, the focus is on creating and developing some software such as File Storage, Wallet multi-assets, custom derivation paths, and many more. Meanwhile, lots of hardware is also developed including ESS Key Ware device, ESS-OS beta, HW seeds, and many others. In addition, Essentia will also develop bounties, hold conference worldwide, etc. In 2019, the plan is almost the same as the previous year as it is the continuing projects and development that can be separated from the previous works.
ICO Token Sale
The ESS token sale is coming soon in this April. The hard cap for the sale was set at 32 million USD. There were 600 million ESS tokens created. 60% of them is distributed for the crowdsale. The rest of the tokens are distributed to the founding team, advisors, and bounties.
The sale is open to anyone except investors from China and the US. 8000 ESS is equal to 1 ETH. However, the price may change depending on the current exchange rates. ETH is the only currency accepted for the sale.
