Is it possible to fix fonts used by steemit to properly display all special Esperanto characters? ĝ, ŭ etc. look strange and unnatural in articles, however they are displayed properly in comments.

Dankon amiko ! Unfortunataly I have no clue about computing. I heard something about unicode, however what to do with that, I do not know. There are only few esperanto steemers out there. Hope it will improve. Do you speak esperanto?
