ISO EOS main net wallet

in #eos6 years ago

Hey, y'all

Can anyone suggest a wallet for main net EOS? I'm looking at the Scatter extension for Chrome, but would like an Android app too. Not sure what to do. I want to vote and participate in the community, so the sooner I get one the better. Not sure how this is gonna work yet, so I'm learning bigly.

Not looking for an ERC20 wallet, obviously.

Hook a brotha up with some information.

I met the developer of scatter last week. He's a cool guy and I am trying to bring him to Utopian.

Have you tried the chrome extension? I added it, but haven't set it up yet.

Not yet. Haven't had the time. Should really email the dude, too.

Lol yeah you should. He won't know to join your team unless you ask ;)

Oh, it's not about getting him to join the team. It's about using Utopian resources to help him monetize his efforts, promote the app, have professional QA people find bugs... everything Utopian does for FOSS projects. He seemed interested at the EOS launch party in Tel Aviv. :)

I wish I could upvote that comment harder lol

Foss is a new thing to me since joining the crypto space in December. @bigdeej is all about the Foss life, and it's inspiring me to learn about "computer stuff" lol

He's a badass guy. Are you on Facebook?

Is it cool if I add you to the trollbox? It's our chat for all parts of the decentralized revolution.

Most folks are either anarchists or at least very very liberty minded. Mostly USA folks, but some from NZ, Macedonia, and Asia. @bigdeej made @shadowbot and is.working on shadowbook.io (a steem interface), shadow web (decentralized internet eventually), and shadowmail (decentralized email), among other things.

It's been a very red pill night for us on this side of the pond.

My bud @peppernrino may have good info, whenever i ask he just tells me to talk to his girlfriend, she's the wizard i guess.

I expect the block producers to come out and declare which wallets are safe to use within the next day or two. I would not import my private keys into any wallet until it is thoroughly vetted by several trusted block producers. For the time being that means I won't be using Scatter or any of the other wallets that have been announced. Although I want to vote as well, I am not going to be among the first to trust any wallet or site that wants my PKs.

Catch 22.

Won't be any BPs if theres no votes. It won't launch or approve BPs without 15% of votes accounted for. No development. No Genesis block without block producers.

True but I think plenty of token hokders in the know will be able to vet and vote to get the chain launched. I want to be a part of it too but I want to be careful too and don't have the technical knowledge to vet the tools.

hmmm.... Why you have to wait when you can easily use Infinito wallet guys...? It's very great & free-fee wallet though. It's been focusing on ERC20 and NEP5 tokens but since the first information of EOS blockchain came out it turned to strongly support EOS too. Very quick and convenient guys.

But ERC20 EOS is frozen. ERC20 isn't useful in this case.

No I mean now Infinito fully supports the new EOS platform too. I'm keeping my tokens there.
