EOSKnights - Just a quick update about the newest pets expedition

If you don't know already EOSKnights released an update today - pets expedition. The game was also finally launched on android for mobile phones.

I was not wasting time and put my pets to expedition as fast as possible. When I was checking all the new information it started to get pretty interesting. It looked like unique pets could drop unique materials and legendary pets could drop legendary materials. I could't really believe my eyes, but the chances of dropping those materials are actually pretty high - lvl 4 unique pet has a droprate of 47% and expedition time of 12 hours. A level 1 legendary pet has a droprate of 20% and an expedition time of 16 hours. That are big chances!

Of course you also have to count the resting time, but even then this means you really could get an unique materials every day for sending unique pets to expedition! I was actually pretty lucky and after 16 hours my legendary pet did actually bring me back an unique item.

Before this update there were people arguing that with rebirths there is no chance to actually get enough materials to upgrade knights and progress the game without spending any money in the marketplace. This update did solve the problem, but it will have a huge impact on the marketplace itself and probably it will be full of unique and lefgendary items without any value later on.

There are still ancient items and the developers did say that there will be more items to craft so it will be interesting to see how will the value of materials change. I guess it also depends on the popularity of the game and if there will be something to do then some people will always pay for it. For example I wouldn't mind something like game profit-sharing with the top players.
