EOS Debug - Debugging for EOS Testnets

in #eos7 years ago (edited)

Hello EOS community,

Having trouble building EOS? Running into weird errors all the time? Is it taking a long time trying to learn each command?

Don’t worry— we’ve all been there. I’ll admit, it took me three days to get my first working build of EOS.IO. And even for developers with all sorts of experience, getting started with EOS is far from trivial. There are some helpful resources and great help available through the community, but not everything is available at once for someone landing on the EOS GitHub page for the first time.

After having some first hand experience of EOS.IO ourselves, Syed (EOS Cafe / Calgary) and I (Jae from HKEOS) both wanted to break down the barrier for new developers entering this awesome community. Our solution was to create a more comprehensive guide -sort of like a debug manual- for anyone that wants to experiment with the EOS.IO software.

We tried to provide as much necessary explanation as possible based on our own understanding and documentation. Of course, this repository is still a work in progress, and far from perfect. We’d love to hear some feedback from all of you guys to make this better— more contributors are welcome, too.

We are also planning to add more content based on people’s needs. We’d be more than happy to take any suggestions too.
Thank you for reading everyone! Feel free to contact us, our Telegram usernames are below.
