@eosbpnews aggregates updates of active EOS BPs and conveniently serves them in one place. Following your favourite Block Producers and staying on top of the EOSphere is now as simple as ever.
So many BP's so little time
During our journey as an EOS Block Producer, we've always tried our best to stay up to date with our fellow EOS BP's updates, to learn about new tools, paradigms and interesting discussions happening in the EOSphere.
But it hasn't always been easy. Following 100's of accounts across various social media platforms is challenging to say the least.
While Medium seems to be the dominating platform for long-content updates, we've noticed that most Block Producers return to STEEM to post (or cross-post) their important announcements and updates. Perhaps it's because that is where the journey started for each BP, as their registered their candidacy to be a network validator. Perhaps it's because it's advantageous to keep some information on an immutable and decentralized ledger. Whatever the reason, we welcome it.
Still, with over 500 registered Producers, how can one stay on top of everything even within the STEEM platform?
What if we could setup a service that resteems every EOS BLock Producer announcement on STEEM?
That is exactly what we did.
We have deployed the service to a new STEEM account @eosbpnews where we will gather all updates from all EOS BPs.
If you wish to be in touch with EOS news and access updates promptly in a single space, we encourage you to follow @eosbpnews and watch that space. It's never been this to stay up to date!
If you are a BP and you are not included in our resteem service, please reach out.
(like the view? it's @steem-plus stuff! Check them out if you like it)
Q: How do you choose which BP's to resteem?
A: We don't, we resteem all of them (prerequisite: BP is registered & active).
If you are missing, reach out and we will add you to the whitelist! Contact us on Telegram or Discord.
Q: What is the guarantee that you will resteem every BP post?
A: We provide the service as best-effort, but we will be monitoring the performance closely. If a post is missed, it is most likely a program malfunction. If you notice an issue, contact us on Telegram or Discord.
Q: Why do you not resteem BP "XYZ"?
A: We want to be fair to everyone and broadcast everyone's (active BP's)announcements and we will try our best to stay true to that statement. However, if a BP account performs "spam posting" we may choose to not resteem his account posts so as not to discourage our followers. Have we made a mistake? Discuss with us on Telegram or Discord.
Q: Why do you not resteem important EOS influencers like @dan?
A: That is not the point of this service. This service it meant for BP updates only.
