It has come to our attention that someone has made unauthorized use of the EOS name and logo at Madison Square Garden, New York City on January 28th, 2018. We wish to emphasize that no one connected with block.one or the EOS project is involved with this use. If anyone has information about the identity of these people using the EOS name and logo, please provide the information to us via email at support@block.one. Again, this use of the EOS name and logo is not authorized and we have no part in this publicity.

We understand that the EOS name and logo are an important and celebrated part of our community that all of us are building together. The enthusiasm of the EOS community is what makes being a part of this project so exciting. Our official goal remains to educate audiences on the EOS.IO software and the power of blockchain technology through conferences, meetups, and other official platforms.

Further, please be reminded that all official information from block.one about the EOS project can be found through official channels, specifically the eos.io website: https://eos.io/. Please continue to stay cautious and contact support@block.one if you are unsure whether the information you are seeing is true. If you come across a website, piece of news, or advertisement that you believe to be a scam, please help make the block.one team aware by sending an email to support@block.one.

A well done scam. I posted address and amounts, but didn't follow through with checking my wallet when it automatically redirected me.
It's being promoted here to give more legitimacy - https://twitter.com/bytemaster_7
