eosDAC Values, Roadmap and Position on Dividends
EOS GO have been producing an excellent series of reports on the EOS Block Producer candidates. These include candidates information in a consistent format so that token holders can compare the candidates objectively.
Recently, EOS GO asked the candidates to share their values, roadmap and position on dividends. For eosDAC, we have had these available on our website since March, but would like to make sure this is published on Steem as requested.
The eosDAC values (Core Principles) are shown below.
These values will be included in the eosDAC constitution
Roadmap
eosDAC will continually be testing on community testnets. In addition, the following activities will be completed by 1st June:-
- Set up of Production Infrastructure
- DAC toolkit roadmap
- Creation of draft DAC Constitution
The following activities are planned for June: -
- EOS Chain launch activities
- eosDAC released on EOS chain
- Block production
- Initial skeleton DAC tools released
- eosDAC Custodians voted in by members and initial handover from launch team
The following activities are planned for Q3 2018:-
- Block production
- Infrastructure scaling
- DAC tool development and implementation
- Full handover from launch team to custodians
Position on Dividends
eosDAC plans to use EOS token rewards as follows:-
To support growth of the EOS blockchain infrastructure. eosDAC will invest heavily in continuously upgrading and improving it’s operational infrastructure to ensure it achieves maximum speed, reliability and redundancy.
To proactively support the wider EOS community of Decentralised Application (DAPP) developers and endusers through investing in it’s own DAPP development and through providing community grants.
Once sufficient funds have been allocated to operational costs, infrastructure growth, community development and contingency funds, eosDAC intends to distribute surplus EOS tokens as decided by eosDAC token holders. This may take many formats including dividends.
It must however be emphasised that dividends given to the DAC members will NOT be dependent on their votes. DAC members will be rewarded regardless of their votes since they are the owners of the DAC. It should also be noted that although there may be considerable overlap between the DAC members and EOS token holders, the two distributions are distinct by design.

CaN I ask are you related to the official EOSdac organization?
Or are you a dedicated member that is making themselves the self apointed steem liazon? Its col either way, I consider my self self apointed Steem Representative for my San Diego, California Area but must get more serious about visiting different tech incubators to show them the steem blockchain and all of our front ends but I have more work to do building my demo reel and portfolio here on steem
I would also love to come work for eosdac in my area to do the things ive wante dto do for stem but which I feel have fallen on deaf ears and I hope eos commujunity will be more advanced more mature more cohesive and business minded and not obsessed with politics or ideology
the bridges eos wants to build are so key and its what ive dreamt of for steem I can only hope steem uses the millions no hundreds of millions in the owners hands to DECVELOP for the platform and that might mean cashing milliosn fo steem out maybe pushing price down but it will be to get cash to pay developers and that would end up bpushing price back up so I just LOVE this idea of eosdac and an organization of eos people
eos café is something I love too and eos pizza just shows a proof of concept that I LOVE, the ide athat eos can be used for a restaurant
I think eos music festiva, will be one of the most funa nd could be the coolest music festival on earth with the best excperience nicest overall things for people to enjoy, just an overall great experience where youc an always find a nice chaier or comfy beanbag to sit on, I imagine a place where theres always something nice and tech talks aloing with music and imagine eos tokens airdrops created to make money to pay headliners and for amuisc festival to rival coahcella and promote EOS and the many tokens on the platform each with its own booths etc
