I know what you mean about resteeming. You can use steemdb.com to find your own posts very easily, but it is off Steemit. I think I read somewhere that they're working on more user-friendly features.
@doule yeah I still am not accustomed to 3rd party applications with the exception of https://steemnow.com/
all the others I am exploring but am challenged to use as a routine.
