NOW OPEN: Nominations for the EOS Foundation

in #eos6 years ago (edited)

#IntroduceYourself _ Rob Finch, CEO (17).pngA few days ago, we (Cypherglass) wrote a proposal for the EOS Foundation: a community organization that would manage the master branch of the EOS software on GitHub. The first step, as written in the EOS Foundation Roadmap, is to have the community nominate 11 interim stewards to manage the foundation. Once the EOS mainnet is live, the foundation will hold a new, tokenized vote where EOS token holders can vote for stewards, or re-elect the interim stewards if they so choose.

If you have nominations for these interim stewards, you need to make them in the official EOS Foundation Telegram and nominate people in the community that you feel will carry out the duties of the foundation.

While self nominations are not off the table, we would rather see nominations come from others for the elected officials. Those that have already self nominated, please have your community support you in the official EOS Foundation Telegram below and make it known that they nominate you for the proposal.

It will be up to this group of 11 interim stewards to create, manage and maintain the foundation as well as work on the master code branch hand-off.

If you have suggestions for this process or the organization of future processes, please join the EOS Foundation Telegram as well.

Thank you,
Team Cypherglass
