EOSForce - eos sidechain accessible with Scatter soon?
As rumour has it, there is a Chinese focused eos sidechain of the eosio software, that has already established a mainnet: EOSForce
Not much is known in the English speaking realm, resources are predominantly in Chinese, as well as the wallets, which according to obscure voices on reddit are full of viruses and scamy bloatware. So reason enough to stay clear of this chain?
Well one claimed strength of eos is the possibility of side chains to establish a plural ecosystem, isn't that reason enough to take a closer look?
Basically that link describes how to connect to the EOSForce mainnet via Scatter:

I tried this out and it works fine, and it shows my genesis snapshot balance.
This is good news, but without any front-end endpoint pretty useless. So I asked a bit more on their telegram:

The importance of this is obvious, with a lack of info available on the wallet, chances are high one falls for a scam... With scatter there is a trusted way to connect, that limits the possibility to be scammed.
I tried the math wallet too, but wouldn't dare to use my genesis key pair for that.
so are these side chains still part of EOS? and can you use EOS coins on them?
Yeah sidechain maybe isn't the right word, it certainly has a different coin.

I think it is a whole new chain rather than a sidechain.
