Our Way Back Home

Back to Penang for Chinese New Year, a smooth trip back to my hometown today. Encountered two heavy downpour along the way and an emergency of getting really low on the fuel. Nonetheless, the whole trip was smooth and no congestion. Guess tomorrow and Thursday will start to have more traffics.

This year is a different year for me as both of us (my wife) are going back way back earlier than before. Well, that’s the perk of working on our own stuff. However, this really get us into some tight situation as we need to really bootstrap and work hard. This year, I would say we are at a starting point with minimum funding.

CNY is also a time where we can put things aside, go around and explore then get our planning set for getting our first batch of customers. Can’t wait to have our business rolling and grow. This is what we are looking forward to all along and this is a great start. Hopefully we can survive through this tight situation though.

Another blessing is that having support from family really boost our confidence to continue the journey. Can’t imagine those solo entrepreneur who could make it through the ordeal. So many unknowns and so many challenges, really insane to get into this. Yet, the dream to achieve a sort of freedom and independency on how we can actually make a living is definitely tempting and we are on our way to building this dream up.
