This video shows that Enigma is open to partnerships. In the video the Enigma co-founder discusses Enigma "Secret Contracts". This technology is the technology which makes Enigma special in the first place. The ability to have smart contracts with privacy is a breakthrough in itself. This is going to be of course difficult to achieve at scale, but it's vital.
Enigma will be offering an off chain computation network. This is in essence a computational resources market with CPU cycles are for sale. The data will be able to remain privacy during all of this. Enigma also is blockchain independent according to the team so it can work on top of Ethereum, Neo, Tezos, or Cardano, or any other platform. This makes the technology quite valuable in and of itself.
The key behind their success will be whether or not the Enigma team has enough brain power concentrated around their technology to maintain a market leadership position and developer momentum.

If the partnership happens, great - there’s more faith in the product, prices goes up and Enigma has a greater chance of success.
