A task. Explain the following phenomenon occurring in an electrical capacitor.
It's given.
GE dielectric (for example, glass)
AB and CD metal plates (for example aluminum)
AN (AM, AL) and CP (CO, CK) linen threads (dielectric), then the yarn tied to the sheets at the top points.

If you charge the AB plate with electricity, the thread will rise to the AN position. On the second side, the thread will hang immovably in the CK position.
Now remove the ground FR. The AN thread descends to the AM position, which corresponds to approximately half the lift. The thread CK rises to the position CO, which visually approximates the position of the filament AM only, from the opposite side.
If the container is left in this state, then after a long period of time the threads themselves will drop to the positions AL and CK, respectively. That corresponds to the gradual discharge of the capacitor.
The initial conditions of the capacitor are charged. If you touch with your finger or better grounding, to any plate, let's say CD, a small spark will slip through. At the same time, the thread connected to the earthed plate is lowered to the CK position. On the opposite side, on the contrary, it rises to the position AN. This experiment can be conducted as many times as desired without significant loss of electricity. Over time, of course, the capacitor will discharge completely.
Question. Why the thread, when touched or grounded to the plate, is constantly lowered, and then rises to the position before touching, if you remove the grounding. Lowering the thread indicates that the plate is discharged. Lifting the thread says that the plate and thread are unipolar charged, so the thread rises and repulsed.
