My Introduction - Greatings and good wishes to all

Hello to everybody here and to those who have yet to come.

I suppose I should share a little about my history and reasons for wanting to join the steemit network. My given name is Steve, my family name is Skidmore. I learned about the concept of a New World Order around 1998 or so and the idea did not set well with me. There are so many things wrong with the world it would be futile to try to list them all because with each passing day the global elite foist new stricter controls on the common people of the world... that is until crypto currencies appeared.

Around 1998 I started listening to some legal researchers who broadcast on the internet what they have learned by reading statutes and case law and was inspired to do the same. I read the 'transportation' code and by reading it for myself I saw clearly that there is a class of folks to whom the code actually applies (commercial), and a class of folks to whom the code does not apply (private). This opened a lot of new doors for me. I started a podcast telling what I was learning on the Revere Radio Network around 2005. I was also a broadcaster on the The Oracle Broadcasting Network and then two separate shows on what is now the Logos Radio Network. I was on a quest to rid the world of this New World Order thing by teaching people how they are being manipulated into acting against themselves. My broadcast career lasted about 8 years or so. I don't do a radio broadcasting any more.

During my broadcasting career I went to work for two different licensed private investigation companies. The first of which acted as a conduit from a service provider to the American homeowner (our customers). The service provider was a group of former mortgage brokers, underwriters, and alike who knew the laws governing mortgages and saw all of the unlawful and often predatory nature of the mass majority of mortgages on the market and the mishandling of the mortgage backed securities on the stock exchange (I dare not call these securities assets as they are all toxic). The first company I worked for was absorbed by the second, that being the group of experts supra, but these experts would generate reports that the homeowner could use in court in a challenge to the validity of the mortgage itself or more often to challenge the validity of the claim of a foreclosing party. Both of these companies have since gone out of business.

When I heard the quotes from some of these global elites (i.e. "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws." Mayer Amschel Rothschild) it really sunk in that the real control mechanism here is what we call money. I learned how the federal reserve was conceived in secret (see The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin, and The Secrets of The Federal Reserve by Eustace Mullins), and how this debt based fiat medium of exchange has enslaved us all. Having been taken off of the gold standard in 1933 and off of the silver standard in 1971, we have been exponentially creating debt and calling it money for far too long. It's high time We The People take back control of our own destiny and leave the antiquated idea of governance in the history books where it belongs. As a society, mankind has come to a point in time where we can govern ourselves.

I see Cripto-currencies as a means to that end. This is how we end the fed, so count me in. I am really glad to be here on the ground floor of what I see as a global financial future with opportunity to be freer than we have been in centuries. If the people of the world can shrug off government we will reach our human potential, but so long as we are "governed" we never will.
