"The letter from beloved sailor"
Hello!
Recently I got the idea of creating a still-life with objects, that could stand on the table of a girl who expects a beloved sailor from a distant voyage.
As a basis, I took the era of the 18th century- porcelain cup with a pink blossom and a filigree handle, inside which was placed a small autumn flower.
I supplemented them with a book and a small feather pen and a cloth of pale pink shade that was very popular among the ladies of that time.
Next to them was put a compass and a letter from someone she loves and was eagerly waiting for.
