Still life based on a fairy tale "Cinderella"
Hello! Today I want to show you my new still life based on a fairy tale "Cinderella".
Cinderella or The Little Glass Slipper, is a folk tale wich has which has thousands of variants around the world.
The earliest Cinderella story- is the legend of Rhodopis, recounted by the Greek geographer, about a slave girl who marries the king of Egypt.
The first literary European version of the story was published in Italy, but the most popular story was wrote by Charles Perrault.
In the still life I combined little decorative pumpkin with a crown on the pumpkin tail, as a symbol of the royal power.
From below I placed a small white pillow with a ruby crystal slipper.
I decided to supplement this composition with a pocket watch-as a symbol of time given to Cinderella by a fairy godmother, and small wooden figurine which created with the help of the Pyrography.
The blue drapery, which unites the whole still life, reminds me of beautiful Cinderella's dress

Nicely done! I do like the water color pencil because the pigment appears stronger than the usual ones.
