Art Blog #18: Eyes in The Dark 👀
Wonderful Tuesday Steemians.. It's another exhausting day at work, new schedule is killing me. From a morning shift transferred to the afternoon shift and to a morning person like me it's a struggle, I mean big time. I still wake up early and then had to force myself to sleep back since I don't need to go to work yet. Well that life and that's work I'll just have to adjust.
Anyways today I have another artwork to share, it's the third time to paint and my second time using Elegance Platform. Yey, I'm starting to love Elegance and painting.
So come with me and let's start today's artwork..
What do We need?
◾ Sketch Book
◾ Pencil
◾ Water Color
◾ Sign Pen(Miniso)
Lets Begin
🌸I started to draw using a pencil. You might be wondering why I chose an owl, well owls seem creepy and sometimes a subject for horror. But if I'd be a bird I'd choose to be an owl, so I could turn my head 360 degrees and see who ever talking behind my back.😂 And those big eyes can see clearly in the dark. Sometimes I'd just hope to see the unseen, like when someone is trying to lie to you and you could just look at them in the eye and see the truth.
🌸 Second is I colored it, well the color choices is of course personally my favorite. I always want my drawings to have that bright happy color.
🌸 Third is I started inking the edges. I'm using this black Miniso Sign Pen. I wanted it to be thicker compared to using a gel pen.
🌸 Lastly I wrote my username, I didn't put a background since I mistakenly inked it already. The thing is sign pens blot when wet, so if I'd put a background the paper might get a bit wet and might destroy the artwork. So I just kept it that way.

For a begginer like me at painting the watercolor I used are just the standard and cheap ones. Well they are good to use specially for me whose not an expert. But I would really recommend other water color to have better results.
Life can be a night of darkness, you'll just have to open your eyes and get used to the dark than be afraid to face it.
