Sailor Moon/ Drawing
Today I want to tell you a little about the path I went through to be drawing more often the style called "anime".
Those who know me or know my work, will know and understand that I like to draw realism, especially faces. They will also know that animals are not drawn, and therefore they will also know that I had never dared to draw anime, not because I did not like it but rather because I did not know much about it.
The path that took me to the anime is not very difficult to deduce, the people with whom I currently spend my rare moments of socialization are fans of this type of animated series and of course they specialize in this type of drawing and it was to be expected that contagiaran and incidentally they will teach me a little of the technique that is used since they are not so similar to realism.
Lately I find myself practicing a lot this style, although not the classic anime "animated" but with a more realistic effect.
For this occasion I made this drawing sailor moon (I have never seen this series, but I thought it was a very nice character) as a practice and to learn to work the proportions of anime that is what most difficult for me.
The process was as follows:
- Technique: Color
- Duration: 2 days
- Size: 29x21
- Materials: pencil B, colors, eraser, pencil sharpener.
