Moscow. Part 1. City Day changes plans

in elegance •  5 months ago

My friends and I agreed to meet on September 8 in Moscow a month ago. Someone will come specially from Kaluga, someone from St. Petersburg, and one girl even flew from Germany. She lives in a city that I can not even pronounce))

So, when we planned our meeting, we chose the photos from the house that we would like to draw. Marked the points on the map and planned the route.

And now, on September 8, I come to Moscow an hour earlier than planned and see ... that Tverskaya Street is closed! Movement is blocked, no one is allowed. I'm in a panic, I do not know what to do ... I come up to ask what happened, and I get an answer: Today is the day of the city. The traffic on the street is blocked, and for visitors the street will be opened in a couple of hours.

I'm in a panic, it's urgent to change plans. But I can not think, I came an hour earlier to paint)) So I walk away from the cordon in the square and draw the first house I see ... and by chance it turns out to be the legendary cafe Pushkin))

I start with light markers.

Do you remember that I'm in a panic? And I just forget that I need to take intermediate photos. Therefore, further I mix a lot of color ...

Now I add details and accents color. I use black liner.

In this moment my 40 minutes of drawing came to end. I take a photo of my sketch in the background of the house and move to the meeting point. I decided that we will plan together again with the girlfriends. And what else can we do?

To be continued…

All my paintings can be bought for sbd/steem

What a very interesting artwork... and you say it was rushed? I would never have guessed it. Nice job!
