Master Class. The city in a different technique
Last weekend I went to the plein air in the center of Moscow and painted houses. I did not get such pleasure from painting with liner for a long time)) Usually I draw with markers first, and then I add liner, here it was necessary to do everything on the contrary ... and I liked it)) Sketches get light, air ... and beautiful)))
We were only 5 students, but all with the same level of drawing. Therefore, it was easy to work with us)) Here we were sitting in such a group on the street in the shadow of one of the houses. Guess where I am?
After each sketch, the error was parsed. You could ask a question or express your doubts.
During the plein-air time, we managed to make 3 sketches, in two of which we added color in place ... and one was left as a homework (personally for me). I do not like graphics, so I always add color)))
And the application logic is understandable, but still there are questions: is it necessary to mix one color with another? And where? In the shadows? And if the picture is planned bright, should I enter gray? Or just tone in the shade under the roof? I tried to answer these questions myself and that's what happened.
I can not yet analyze the knowledge that I received in the master class. But I liked this sketch technique. First, it takes less time (40 minutes per sketch). Secondly, the number of used markers. Only 3-4 markers !!! Usually on plein air I take around 30-40 markers with me !!! Third, you can draw almost anything. Not necessarily houses. The principle of sketching is built on a graph and a linear drawing, and the color is used to only show the volume or some details. How do you like this style?
All my paintings can be bought for sbd/steem
