About Electroneum

Electroneum is a cryptocurrency that can be mined using your smart phone. Actually, your phone doesnt mine like a desktop cryptocurrency miner. Phones are not designed to withstand complex calculations required to perform actual mining and will overheat very quickly. Thus, what the developer did is they benchmark the phone used for mining and allocated a hashrate equivalent to the actual mining power of the device.

Being the CEO, he has assembled a group of more than 40 developers and developed a social media management platform, used by global fortune 500 companies such as Avon and Herbalife. Aside from Richard, his team members have also a name on their own. They are experts who have years, if not decades, of experience in their own field of expertise.

  -23rd February 2018 - signed an agreement with Unified which will make mobile user reach to 130m users.
• List on major exchanges.
  -19th January 2018 - HitBTC (top 10 global exchange) confirmed that it will be listing Electroneum ASAP.
• Grow Electroneum Team.
  -27th February 2018 - Rich joined panel discussion at Mobile World Congress 2018 Barcelona.
• Launch Mobile Miner.
  -05 March 2018 - mobile miner has been launched.

How to mine using your phone?

1. Download the Electroneum app.
2. Create an account. You can either use your facebook account or register using your email.
3. An email will be sent to your email address for verification. Follow the process written in the email.
4. Provide your mobile number. Electroneum will send a confirmation code.
5. Next steps are basic steps where you need to provide recovery email and pin.
6. Now you can log in the Electroneum app. Once logged in, you have to verify your device. Electroneum will send an email to your email address asking for the verification of your device.
7. You can now start mining!

Note: the app doesn't have to be open for it to mine. It mines in the background, meaning it is continually mining even though you are playing games or using facebook.
