HAPPY EID DAYS
Eid Al-Fitr is that the most vital competition within the Muslim calendar (Muslim Holiday).
The day does not mark any historical event or episode; but its existence provides the Muslim for an occasion to offer Thanks to Allah for having given him the strength and therefore the can to watch quick throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
It is conjointly an event for prayers once the Muslims take in massive congregations, standing shoulder to shoulder, to demonstrate the equality and equity which is the inherent feature of
Islamic society all over the world.
But the best significance of this present day and age} of rejoicing lies within the indisputable fact that on this day each Muslim is enjoined to provide the poverty-stricken food at the speed of
the prescribed weight per each member of his menage, including servants and guests who were sheltered under his roof the preceding evening.
Eid Al-Fitr then serves a three-fold purpose: It places upon each Muslim the duty to recollect Supreme Being and provide Him thanks; it affords him a chance of non secular stock-taking in
that he can now ponder over the strength of his will or the weakness of his character, as the case may be, which manifested itself during the preceding month (Ramadan);
And, for those persons who disobeyed this command of Allah this is the day of an end to the month-long pangs of conscience, inner struggle and continuous realization of the feebleness of their character.
No a lot of can they need to argue, without much conviction, against fasting.
No a lot of can they need to hatch AN excuse each morning for not abstinence.
No a lot of can they need to mention "Oh, however abstinence is old-fashioned; it had been not meant for the trendy world."
It is not my object here to elucidate the philosophy of abstinence.
Almost everybody realizes the non secular, social, scientific and medical edges that area unit derived from abstinence.
But thus far as a Muslim, a real believer, is concerned, it should be sufficient that fasting is prescribed in the Holy Book of Allah, and as such is
the command of Allah. Should one seek to justify Allah's commands?
The measure of a man's love for his Creator is his unquestioned obedience to the commands of the Creator.
When for whole month a Muslim has obeyed Supreme Being, unquestioningly, without complaint, without regret, and when he has spent his time in prayers, in humility and in charity, should
one wonder, if at the top of this era, the Creator might Himself intercommunicate such creature of His and say: "It is currently for thee ask me
Ramadan, the holiest month within the Muslim calendar,
is that the amount once man is subjected to a supreme check.
Without compulsion, without coercion, the Muslims throughout the world obey Allah; and every day from dawn to sunset abstain not only from sensual pleasures but even from the necessities
of life like food and drink. Some do this in shivering cold, some in burning heat, some do it where days are short and others where days are interminably long.
The made quick yet because the poor, the master yet because the servant; the oldsters yet because the child; the ruler yet because the. subject.
They all quick, regardless of the colour or their social position.
Having done this, for one whole month, today on this auspicious day of Eid Al-Fitr, every Muslim should be ready to face the year that lies ahead with renewed strength,
greater understanding and universal goodwill. He has fasted to acquire piety, discipline and self-control.
Now the habit of unquestioning obedience to Supreme Being is cultivated in his heart and mind.
He is currently trained to just accept the commands of Supreme Being, within the remaining eleven months of the year, with constant unwavering loyalty.
He has emerged from the month of Ramadan with a brand new temperament and a stronger character, confident of his ability to subordinate his desire to his will, his emotion
to his intellect.
No longer can it's troublesome for him to refrain from intoxicating drinks; now not can he regress from his less lucky brethren; now not can he fail to
understand and appreciate the pain of hunger, the pangs of thirst.
So the training period of Ramadan has come to an end.
Now we have a tendency to area unit getting into the age of traditional activities of life.
If the teachings learnt in Ramadan have left their marks upon our character, we have a tendency to area unit entitled to fancy Eid Al-Fitr.
The festivities and merriment begin once the prayers with visits to the homes of friends and relatives and thanking the Creator for all blessings.
Eid may be a time to return along as a community and to renew relationship and family ties.
This is a time for peace for all Muslims within the world to devote to prayers and mutual well-being.
It's a joyous occasion with important religious significance. Happiness is observed at attaining spiritual uplift after a month of fasting. Muslims dress in holiday attire.
After attending the special congregational prayer within the morning, worshippers greet and embrace each other in a spirit of peace, love, and brotherhood.
Visiting friends and relatives is common.
