Petra was the stunning capital of the Nabataean kingdom around the 6th century BC, and a visit to this amazing place will leave you breathless. The same will a visit to Wadi Rum, the most serene of deserts we have ever visited.

Iran contains ethnically diverse cultures as it has been the heart of some of the world's most glorious empires. Tehran is a metropolis of 14 million people, also cosmopolitan city, with great museums, parks, restaurants, warmth, and lots of nice people. Mosques in Iran are especially beautiful and like nowhere else in the world. Iran is a bit more conservative than other Middle East countries in this list.
